Richardus Anglicus
Biography
- Born 1162.
- Not to be confused with Richard the Poor, Bischop of Salisbury and Durham.
- Not to be confused with Richardus Anglicus, the physician.
- Studied and taught at Bologna (end of the 12th century), probably Archdeacon and rector of the law school in Bologna.
- 1202-1242: Prior at Dunstable.
- Death: 09. April 1242.
Activities as Canonist
- After 1201: Ordo judiciarius.
- After 1208/1210: Distinctiones super Decretis (dependent from the Summa of Sicardus).
- Glossae super Compilatio prima.
- Probably before 1189, surely before 1213: Casus Decretalium.
