Biography

• often confused with the Speculator, i.e. Durandus of Mende.
• nephew of Durandus of Mende.
• 18^th December 1296: Bishop of Mende.
• 1305-1306: Papal Legat in Nothern Italy.
• 1311-1312: Participant at the Council of Vienne.
• 1328: Died on his way back from a journey to Egypt as Legalt of the Pope and the King of France.
