Biography
- descendant of the Fredoli family (Montpellier)
- held several posts: Canon at Beziers, Succentor and pontificial chaplain, abbot of St. Aphrodisius in Beziers, Canon of Narbonne, Aix and Archdeacon.
- taught probably in Bologna (under discussion).
- 1294: Bishop of Beziers.
- 1305: Cardinal Priest (SS. Nerei et Achillei titulo Fasciolae, later: SS.Johannis et Pauli tit. Pammachii).
- 1309: Cardinal Bishop of Tusculum
- Death. 11th June 1323 in Avignon
